Biography
Tess Veuthey, MD/PhD, is a neurology resident at Stanford interested in neural engineering, chronic pain, psychedelics, and health disparities. Her PhD examined cortical representations of movement in rodents learning motor skills and brain-machine interface tasks. She is looking to bring tools from those fields into the study of chronic pain and its treatment. Tess aims to integrate neuromodulation and psychedelics to collaboratively develop safe, effective treatments for neuropsychiatric conditions both within and outside the formal medical context.
